Police say they're investigating after activists unfurled a giant Palestinian flag from the Manhattan Bridge for a short time Wednesday afternoon during a march in support for those in Gaza.
The massive Palestinian flag, which was embroidered with the phrase "Gaza in our hearts" and the words "Boycott," "Divest," and "Sanction," was hung near the bridge's Manhattan side.
It wasn't up long before authorities took it down.
The march continued into Lower Manhattan.
No arrests have been made, but police say they're looking for the demonstrators who put the flag up.
The Anti-Defamation League denounced the demonstration and banner as an attempt to "delegitimize Israel."
The BDS movement is an international effort against Israel over the Gaza settlements.

It's the second time unusual flags have flown from New York City bridges. Last month, someone swapped out the U.S. flags atop the Brooklyn Bridge's two towers with bleached-white American Flags.
A pair of German artists took credit for the switch, but the NYPD says it hasn't made any arrests in the case.
