Accidents Shut Down Outerbridge Crossing to NJ

All New Jersey-bound lanes of the Outerbridge Crossing are closed due to two separate accidents on the roadway early Wednesday, traffic authorities say.

The Staten Island-bound lanes of the crossing are open.

Authorities said both accidents, which were unrelated, involved multiple vehicles.

No further information on either accident was immediately available.
