4 Teens Accused of Causing $10K in Damage to Long Island Soccer Fields

Four teens have been accused of damaging soccer fields in one Long Island town earlier this month.

The teens all 17, face charges of second-degree criminal mischief after the fields at the Northport Soccer Complex were damaged between Sept. 11 and Sept. 12.

Photos of the damage show what appear to be deep gashes in the field, apparently caused by a car or truck. Authorities say it cost about $10,000 to repair the fields.

The four teens, who are not being identified by NBC 4 New York because they are minors, are expected to be arraigned Wednesday in Islip.
