Authorities are investigating the death of a newborn girl in Brooklyn.
Police say they responded to a 911 call Wednesday night at a Humboldt Street apartment where they found the child unconscious and unresponsive.
The infant was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The medical examiner's office will determine the cause of death.
The investigation is ongoing.
