Power Restored to PSE&G Customers in Newark

A power outage in Newark affected more than 11,000 PSE&G customers for several hours Sunday.

A spokeswoman said the a transformer tripped around 12:30 p.m., causing a line to shut down at the Federal Square Station.

Crews were dispatched, and power was restored by late afternoon.
