Police are looking for the robber they say grabbed a 90-year-old man by the neck outside a Queens grocery store, stole his wallet and made the victim drive to two ATMs to withdraw cash.
The man was leaving a Stop and Shop on 48th Street in Sunnyside on Friday morning when the suspect, in his 30s, grabbed him and demanded his wallet, the NYPD says.
Then, police say, the robber demanded his PIN number. When the 90-year-old man gave him the number, the robber made him drive to the ATMs so he could make withdrawals.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
