Police say a gunman on a bicycle shot and killed a man sitting inside a car on Long Island.
Vernon Brown was sitting in a car with a friend on South 31st Street in Wyandanch Sunday afternoon when the bicyclist rode up and fired one shot into the vehicle.
After Brown was hit, his friend drove him to a house on Levey Boulevard, where another friend called 911. EMS responded to the scene and took Brown to Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are looking for the gunman, who rode off after the shooting.
