New York Jets Kick Off 2018 Season on the Road Against Lions

The schedules for the 2018 NFL season were released Thursday night.

The season kicks off with Thursday Night Football on NBC on Sept. 6. The Atlanta Falcons will travel to Philadelphia to take on the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles.

The New York Jets begin their season with the first Monday Night Football game of the year on Sept. 10 on the road against the Detroit Lions. The Jets will have at least two primetime games after only having one last season.

No Sunday night game has been scheduled for the last day of the season, Dec. 30. That will be chosen after Week 16 games conclude.
