Power has been restored to 15,000 customers after an outage in parts of New Jersey Tuesday afternoon.

The power was restored by 7:30 p.m., said officials with PSE&G.

The blackouts were caused by an issue with a supply line at a PSE&G substation in Wayne.

The affected towns included Fair Lawn, Haledon, North Haledon, Hawthorne, Wayne, Paterson, Totowa and Passaic.
