A man posing as a police officer entered a store in Trenton Saturday afternoon and allegedly raped an employee, according to authorities in New Jersey.
The suspect, shown above, allegedly entered a store on the 800 block of South Broad Street at around 1 p.m. and told the store's clerk he was a police officer, officials say. The suspect, who had a black radio and a handgun, allegedly took the clerk into the bathroom and sexually assaulted her.
The man then escaped by flagging down a tan Toyota Corolla st the corner of South Clinton and Roebling avenues, though the police doe not believe the car's driver was involved with the assault.
