A New Jersey man has been charged with trying to lure a dozen girls into his car over two months in Bergen County.     

Authorities say 26-year-old Shahan Achian would offer the children money for sex.    

Prosecutor John Molinelli says the first incident occurred on Oct. 16 in Montvale when a man in a black vehicle pulled up near a middle school and offered three girls cash for sex.     

Similar incidents were reported in Glen Rock, Ho-Ho-Kus, Ridgewood and Allendale.     

All the girls walked away and told their parents or teachers, who called police. 

The Upper Saddle River resident is held on $200,000 bail, charged with multiple counts of luring and child endangerment.      

It wasn't immediately clear if he had an attorney.
