Driver Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on NJ Highway: Police

New Jersey State Police say a car going the wrong way on Interstate 80 struck a truck head-on, killing a driver.

Trooper Alina Spies says the car, driven by 25-year-old Sean Hernandez of Haworth, was heading east in the westbound lanes when it hit the tractor-trailer in Saddle Brook early Wednesday.

Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene.

The westbound lanes were closed for about four hours.

The accident remains under investigation.
