USDA Recalls Nearly 3,900 Pounds of Bologna Made in NJ

A New Jersey bologna-maker is recalling nearly 3,900 pounds of pork and chicken after inspectors found that some of the products were full of nonfat dry milk.

The recalled foods were produced by Gaiser's European Style Provision between Oct. 6 and Oct. 20, according to the USDA. The regulatory agency said that there had been no confirmed reports of illness or adverse reactions from people who consumed the recalled products.

Still the agency said that anyone who bought the meats laced with the dry milk, a known allergen, should not consume them.

The recalled products were shipped to stores and institutions in New York, New Jersey, Washington, California and Minnesota and include the establishment number "EST. 5385" or "P-5385" by the USDA's mark of inspection.
