Get a Free Meal With Your Chicken Tattoo on National Wing Day

If you're a chicken wing fan, today is your day.

July 29 is National Chicken Wing Day — the perfect excuse to treat yourself to everything from barbecue to boneless.

The deep-fried, sauce-slathered bar food famously got their start in New York, and there are plenty of places throughout the tri-state offering freebies and deals to celebrate the occasion.

The most creative offer comes from 40NORTH restaurants, which owns George + Martha’s American Grille in Morristown, The Black Horse Pub in Mendham and The OFFICE Beer Bar and Grill in Montclair and Ridgewood. Anyone with a tattoo depicting a chicken wing or a chicken will get endless wings for free.

P.Whelihans, which has locations in New Jersey, is offering all-you-can-eat wings Friday for $14.99.

Quaker Steak and Lube, which has locations in Brick, Edison and Pohatcong, is also offering all-you-can-eat wings to mark the occasion for $15.49.

Buffalo Wild Wings is offering half off wings all day Friday at participating locations. Hooters has all-you-can-eat wings starting at $12.99. Prices vary by location.
