NYPD Seeks Estranged Husband in Brooklyn Stabbing

Authorities are looking for the estranged husband of a woman who was stabbed repeatedly as she walked down a Brooklyn street, the NYPD said Saturday.

The 22-year-old woman was heading to the Brighton Beach subway station just before 2 p.m. Friday when she was approached from behind and stabbed multiple times, police said. The attack happened at the corner of Brighton Beach Avenue and Brighton Sixth Street, according to police.

The woman was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Police are looking for the woman's estranged husband in connection to the attack, authorities said.
