NYPD Seeks Woman Suspect in Bank Robbery

New York City police are asking for the public's help in locating a woman wanted in connection with a bank robbery Saturday morning in Brooklyn.

The woman, described as being about 5-feet-4 and 115 pounds, entered the Santander Bank on Prospect Park West at about 9 a.m. and passed a note demanding money to a teller, investigators said.

The woman fled the bank with about $7,000, police said.

Police released a surveillance photo of the suspect and ask that anyone with information about the woman's identity call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
