Officers Compete for ‘Pinkest Precinct' Title for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

New York’s finest are going pink to show their support during Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October.

NYPD’s police precincts have been tweeting photos of their pink clothing and accessories as part of a friendly competition to claim the title of “Pinkest Precinct” in the department.

The 112th Precinct in Forest Hills decked out a police cruiser by adding pink stripes to their ride.

Meanwhile, the 100th Precinct in Rockaway Beach added a splash of pink color to their uniforms with their colorful socks.

The 41st Precinct in the Bronx donned pink polos to show their support.

And the Midtown North Precinct stopped by NBC's "Today" show Thursday morning wearing pink ties to promote awareness.
