NYPD Officer Accused of Exposing Himself Near School: Authorities

An NYPD officer is facing charges after prosecutors say he exposed himself outside of a New York City school on Monday.

Wayne Roach, 34, was arrested on lewdness and DWI charges after the incident outside P.S. 134 in the Foxhurst section of the borough, according to the NYPD and Bronx District Attorney's Office.

It's not clear what led to Roach exposing himself, or if his vehicle had been stopped by police prior to the drunk-driving arrest.

Roach is expected to be arraigned Tuesday afternoon. Attorney information for the man wasn't immediately available.

Students from pre-kindergarten to fifth grade attend P.S. 134.
