Violent Robbery in Times Square Subway Station: NYPD

Two teens attacked a man and threw him to the ground before stealing his phone in the Times Square subway station, according to the NYPD.

The man was attacked just before 1:30 a.m. Saturday on the 7 train platform of the Times Square-42nd Street station.

The two suspects walked up to the man and asked for the time, police said. Moments later, the duo allegedly assaulted him and knocked him to the ground before stealing his cell phone.

Police said the two suspects are both about 18 years old.
