Warm Front to Bring Wet Weather, Temperatures in the 60s

Warm temperatures are on the horizon for the tri-state, but Storm Team 4 says the balmy conditions won't come without a little wet weather.

Rain is expected to pop up Wednesday afternoon as a warm front arrives from the south, bringing scattered showers after 2 p.m. Rain could continue on and off through the evening, making for a damp and dreary evening commute. Temperatures will likely remain in the 40s.

Storm Team 4 says areas of fog will develop Wednesday, which could pose a problem for commuters during the morning rush hour Thursday.

Temperatures are expected to rise to the low 60s by Thursday afternoon, which could bring the warmest weather so far this year to Central Park.

Despite the warm weather, Thursday is expected to be rainy and breezy with a line of gusty thunderstorms possible in the evening.

After that, another cold front will move through, again bringing wintry conditions. Storm Team 4 says temperatures will drop from the 50s to the 40s or 30s, and snow showers could make it feel more like February than late March.

The weather is expected to be brighter and better on Sunday, but still chilly with highs in the upper 40s.

Temperatures are expected to rise into the low 50s on Monday and Tuesday.
