Police Arrest Suspect in Bronx Shooting That Left 1 Injured

Police have arrested a Bronx man wanted for allegedly shooting another man multiple times as he stood outside an apartment building.

Juan Rivera-Padovani, 31, was arrested this week and charged with attempted murder in the Dec. 30 shooting.

Police say Rivera-Padovani shot a 31-year-old man in the jaw and back as he stood outside an apartment building on Creston Avenue in Fordham Heights. 

The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was in stable condition.

Rivera-Padovani was arrested in 2014 for criminal sale of marijuana.
