Men Wanted in String of Armed Robberies Near Fordham University: NYPD

Police are searching for at least three men wanted in a string of robberies near Fordham University in the Bronx.

The robbers, believed to be in their teens or early 20s, have targeted young men and women and stolen their phones, wallets, money and bank cards.

The first reported robbery was on Feb. 25, when two suspects stole an 18-year-old man’s cash, cell phone and debit card on Southern Boulevard.

Police say the two suspects struck again on March 9, when they robbed a 21-year-old man with a gun early in the morning on Hughes Avenue. A couple of hours later, the two robbers, joined by a third suspect, surrounded a 20-year-old man and stole his wallet on Hoffman Street.

On the evening of March 14, there were two more robberies. The two suspects stole an 18-year-old woman’s cell phone and cash on East 191st Street before heading over to Hughes Avenue less than 10 minutes later and robbing a 21-year-old man with a knife.
