A man was shot and killed in Brooklyn early Saturday morning, according to police.
The shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. at the Kingsborough Houses in Brownsville, police said. Officers responding to a 911 call of a person shot found a 42-year-old man unconscious with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.
Emergency responders transported the man to Interfaith Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The name of the man has not been made public, pending notification of his family.
Police are continuing to investigate the shooting, and no arrests have been made.
