Dunkin' Donuts Favored Target of Queens Robber

A robber has hit at least three Dunkin’ Donuts locations on the same avenue in Queens this month, police say.

All of the Dunkin’ Donuts that the robber targeted were on a stretch of Hillside Avenue in Queens Village.

In the first robbery earlier this month, the suspect walked into a Dunkin’ Donuts just after noon and handed an employee a note demanding cash, police said. He was able to get away with $300.

In the second robbery a little over a week later, the suspect went into a nearby Dunkin’ Donuts just after midnight, ordered food and then demanded money from the cash register. That time he stole $150, according to police.

Then, minutes after the second robbery, the suspect hit another Dunkin’ Donuts, yet again on Hillside Avenue. Police said he ordered a donut and then demanded money from the cash register. This time the employee refused to give over the money and the robber took off empty-handed.

The suspect is in his early to mid-20s, according to police.
