Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man who has been stealing purses out of a storage area at Luna Park in Coney Island.
The suspect waits until the women are on one of the park's roller coaster rides and then snatches their purses from a storage area, police said.
Six incidents spanning across the month of May have been reported to the police so far. All of the thefts have taken place in the late afternoon or early evening.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
