Police are investigating the death of a 2-year-old girl who drowned at her home in Brooklyn Sunday night.
Melody Pheng's father was performing CPR on her when officer's arrived at their home on 47th Street in Sunset Park just before 8:30 p.m., according to police.
Although emergency responders rushed the unresponsive girl to Maimonides Medical Center, they were unable to save her.
Police are investigating the drowning. They said it wasn't immediately clear where the girl drowned in the home.
A medical examiner will perform an autopsy Monday to determine her exact cause of death.
The girl's parents were being questioned by investigators at the 72nd precinct Monday morning.
