One person died and two others were seriously injured in a car accident in Queens Sunday night, officials said.
The car was speeding fast on the Grand Central Parkway in Elmhurst when it spun out of control and hit a guardrail near the 94th Street overpass just before 11 p.m.
The 42-year-old driver was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, but died from his injuries, police said.
A 46-year-old man who was in the passenger seat was also taken to Elmhurst Hospital with serious injuries.
A 37-year-old woman in the backseat was rushed to Booth Memorial and was in serious condition Monday morning.
