Road crews around New York state are keeping lanes open this Labor Day weekend to help ease holiday traffic congestion.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo says temporary lane closures associated with road and bridge construction projects on state highways will be lifted until 6 a.m. on Tuesday. Some work may continue behind concrete barriers or for emergency repairs.
Labor Day weekend is typically one of the busiest travel times of the year
