DWI, Drug Arrests at New York Electronic Music Festival

New York State Police are continuing to keep a close eye on an outdoor electronic music festival. They've now made several driving while intoxicated as well as drug arrests.

As of Sunday, troopers said they had arrested five Mysteryland Music Festival attendees on DWI charges and four others on felony drug possession charges.

Troopers say they've confiscated cocaine, MDMA, LSD, ketamine, ecstasy and marijuana at the four-day concert in Bethel Woods, in the Hudson Valley. They'd said Saturday they'd made several drug arrests, without an exact number.

Mysteryland organizers say possessing, selling and using drugs at the festival is forbidden.

An upstate New York man was charged last year in the death of another man authorities said overdosed on MDMA at New York City's Electric Zoo music festival in 2013.
