Baby Jesus Statue Stolen From Long Island Church Over Christmas Weekend

Police are looking for a statue of baby Jesus stolen from a church on Long Island.

Suffolk County hate crimes detectives are investigating the missing statue, which police say was lifted from St. Mary’s Church in East Islip over Christmas weekend.

The baby Jesus statue was still missing from the nativity seen outside St. Mary’s on Tuesday. Statues of Mary and Joseph looked down at an empty spot.
