A water main broke in Weehawken, New Jersey, Thursday afternoon, inundating a city street and cutting off water to some residents.
Suez Water says the main ruptured around 2:30 p.m. on Harbor Boulevard.
Although the 24 inch main was capped, apartment buildings in the area of the break were expected to experience little-to-no water until repairs were completed.
It’s not clear when water will be completely restored to the area.
