A 32-year-old man was gunned down near a Jersey City park Thursday morning, police said.
Responding to a report of gunfire in the area of Arlington Park, near the intersection of Grand Street and Clinton Avenue, officers found a wounded man lying in the street.
The victim, later identified as Tyheem Williams, suffered a gunshot wound to the upper torso and was pronounced dead at about 12:30 a.m. at the scene, investigators said.
Dozens of people were hugging and wiping away tears; others talked with investigators.
No arrests have been made.
