Store Employee Arrested on Terror Threat Charge After Groping Co-Worker, Putting Knife to Her Neck: Police

Police have arrested a New Jersey man after surveillance video allegedly captured him threatening his female co-worker with a knife and repeatedly groping her.

Jabed Baker, a 24-year-old employee at Circle K convenience store near Packanack Lake Road in Wayne County, was arrested on charges of criminal sexual contact and weapons charges Thursday, Wayne police say.

Police say a woman called them last Thursday morning to complain about ongoing harassment from a co-worker. She told responding officers that Baker grabbed her body and face, then tried to kiss her. Things turned violent after she rebuffed his advances, she said.

The store's videotaped surveillance footage shows Baker allegedly extending a switchblade knife, holding it toward the woman's neck and threatening her, according to authorities. The assault was captured on the store's videotaped surveillance.

The woman wasn't hurt in the assault.

Baker was released with a future court date. Attorney information for the man wasn't immediately available.
