Members of New Jersey's congressional delegation as well as labor unions, religious leaders, immigrants and immigration advocates plan to hold a rally Saturday in Liberty State Park.

It's one of several demonstrations being held across the nation under the 'Time is Now' banner to urge Congress to pass immigration reform.

Organizers say those scheduled to speak at the New Jersey rally, including Democratic U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez, plan to express their support for proposed changes in federal immigration laws that would put an estimated 11 million immigrants living in the country illegally on a path to citizenship.

Participants plan to gather at noon Saturday by Freedom Way in Liberty State Park in Jersey City.
