Police Seek Help Identifying Bicyclist Struck by Cab

The man remains unconscious and is in critical condition

Police are asking for help identifying a bicyclist who was struck and injured by a livery cab in the Bronx Wednesday. 

The man was riding his bicycle westbound on East 165th Street in Morrisania at about 7:30 p.m. and was hit by the livery cab as he was crossing Melrose Avenue, police say. 

The cab driver stayed on the scene and was not issued any summonses. 

The bicyclist was taken to Lincoln Hospital where he remains unconscious and unresponsive, according to police. He's listed in critical condition with facial fractures. 

He's believed to be in his mid-30s and is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and about 190 pounds.
