Police are investigating the deaths of two people on the Upper West Side as an apparent murder-suicide.
Police say officers were called to a single-room-occupancy building on West 94th Street and Riverside Drive just after 11 a.m. Sunday where they found the couple unconscious.
Police say 58-year-old Edwin Rodriguez, of the Bronx, and 44-year-old Florenciana Martinez, who lived in the building, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
