Motorcyclist Killed on FDR Drive: Police

He lost control of the motorcycle and struck the center divider, police said

A motorcyclist was killed in Manhattan when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a center divider on the FDR Drive Friday morning, police said. 

The 47-year-old motorcyclist was found unconscious and unresponsive when first responders arrived on the scene at about 11 a.m., near 34th Street on the northbound side of the parkway, according to police.

He was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
