A car crash on Long Island has killed a mother and her son and critically injured two of her other children.
Suffolk County Police say 30-year-old Keri Trinca was driving on Ocean View Boulevard in Manorville Saturday morning when she collided with a van.
Police say the Manorville mother was pronounced dead at the scene. Her 7-year-old son was taken to a hospital where he later died. Trinca's 4-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son were hospitalized in critical condition.
The driver of the van and his passenger were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police are still investigating the accident.
