She is also charged with harassment for injuring a police officer

A Long Island mom has been arrested for driving under the influence with her young daughter in the car, and she made known her distaste for the legal proceedings by flipping the bird during her mug shot.

Nicole P. Marty, 25, of Islip Terrace was driving while under the influence of drugs, police said. She was involved in a car accident that left her 9-year-old daughter with a head injury, police said. The girl was released into the custody of family members.

In addition to the drugs charge, Marty is charged with child endangerment and possession of a controlled substance.

She is also charged with harassment for injuring a police officer who was guarding her at Southside Hospital.
