A missing Drexel University student from New Jersey has been found dead in a river in Philadelphia, authorities say.

Eighteen-year-old Stevens Glemaud's body was found in the Schuylkill River near the Philadelphia Museum of Art Monday afternoon, NBC 10 Philadelphia reports. The death is being treated as a drowning.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.

Glemaud, a freshman, was missing for more than two days. Relatives said he disappeared from campus just hours before they came to help him move back home for the summer.

Glemaud was last seen leaving his dorm in west Philadelphia early Saturday morning, dorm officials said.

Marie Glemaud-Honegan said her missing brother attended an off-campus party Friday night. Surveillance footage indicated he returned to his room early Saturday, then left a few hours later before family members arrived from West Orange, N.J.

She says he previously lost his cellphone and had not replaced it.

Drexel is a private university in Philadelphia serving about 23,500 students.
