Family Pleads for Tips After Conn. Student, 20, Disappears Near School

The family of a missing Eastern Connecticut State University student is pleading with the public to come forward with any information that might help find her.

Alyssiah Wiley's parents, state police and a state prosecutor spoke at a news conference at the Willimantic school Thursday. The 20-year-old sophomore psychology major from West Haven was last seen April 20 near the Dairy Queen en route to campus.

State police have interviewed people who know Wiley and searched the area with dogs and aircraft. Troopers say they've developed leads but need more information.

Anyone with information is urged to call state police, campus police or the Windham state's attorney's office. Information also can be obtained and shared on the state's attorney's Facebook page.
