Young Brother, Sister Found After Being Reported Missing From Bronx Home

Authorities say they have found the two young siblings who have been missing since Monday, when they were seen in front of their home in the Bronx.

Ten-year-old Tyrell Yearby and his sister, 9-year-old Manyia Yearby were reported missing Oct. 1, three days after they were last seen in front of their Westchester Avenue home.

Police said Friday evening they were located in good health and returned. They had no further details.

The children were staying with their mother's cousin, though it's not a court-ordered custody situation. The mother asked to see the kids earlier this week and the cousin obliged, but the mother never returned them. The cousin tried to contact the mother to no avail, police say.

Authorities believed the children were still with their mother but its not clear where they were. It was not known why they live with the cousin.
