A 5-year-old boy who was reported missing from his home in Rosedale, Queens has been found safe, police said.

Authorities said Aeden Wiggins's mother reported him missing to the police at 5 a.m., as soon as she realized he wasn't at home.

Meanwhile, Wiggins had been found by a man and woman at 4 a.m. about one to two miles away, police said.

The man and woman who found the boy said they didn't call the police until 9 a.m., when police say they heard helicopters involved in the search.

Wiggins' parents told police that he has a history of sleepwalking. He was taken to the hospital to be evaluated.

Police say they do not plan to file any charges.
