Missing Autistic Bronx Boy Found Safe

Ross Harrison ran off Tuesday when he was getting ready for school

A 13-year-old autistic boy who went missing three days ago from his Bronx home was found riding the subway in Brooklyn and is now back safe with his family.

Ross Harrison ran off Tuesday when he was getting ready for school.

His father told NBC 4 New York on Friday that he "couldn't sleep, couldn't think straight" while the boy was missing.

"I was worried about him every day but trying to keep positive," he said. "I was praying a lot."

His mother said Harrison had complained about a bully on the school bus before he disappeared out the front door along West 182nd Street.

He was found early Friday by Good Samaritans on the street.

"It's good to know that we still have New Yorkers that care," his father said.
