Van Crashes Into MTA Bus, Injuring 10

Ten people were hurt in an accident involving an MTA bus and an airport shuttle van in Queens Friday night, authorities say.

The crashed into the off-duty Q12 bus at the intersection of Northern Boulevard and Prince Street in Flushing at about 10:15 p.m., police said, after the van's driver made an illegal right turn that likely caused the accident.

The city bus was off duty and empty, but eight passengers who were on the van were taken to New York Hospital Queens in Flushing and treated for minor injuries. The van and bus drivers were also hospitalized and in stable condition as of Saturday morning, officials said.

No charges or tickets have been issued in connection with the crash.
