Body of Teen Thrown Over Cliff Positively Identified

Authorities say a body found in northern New Jersey is a woman who went missing last year.

Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli said on his Twitter account Friday that the body found Wednesday off the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Alpine has been positively identified as Mila Kostadinova.

A 19-year-old man was charged Tuesday with failing to report her death after his lawyer says he found the 18-year-old dead and tossed her body over a cliff.

Attorney Albert Wunsch told The Record newspaper Antony Freay "did not react the way he should have reacted" when he found his friend dead of an apparent overdose.

Freay was charged Tuesday with desecrating or damaging human remains and hindering apprehension by concealing evidence and providing false information. He pleaded not guilty Wednesday.
