Police Hunt Suspects Who Robbed, Slashed 2 in Midtown

    Police say two restaurant workers were robbed and slashed by two knife-wielding suspects in midtown.

    The workers from Vnyl restaurant near 51st Street and Ninth Avenue were approached by the robbers at about 6:30 a.m. Monday, according to police.

    The suspects demanded cash, and got into a struggle with the two men.

    One victim, 24, was slashed on the wrist and the other, 22, was cut on the face. The robbers fled with their cash, police said.
