Stagehand Sues Met Opera Over Alleged Sex Harassment

Teri Orsburn claims that she was subjected to unwanted come-ons and dangerous pranks by her male colleagues

A former carpenter for the Metropolitan Opera is suing the company over alleged sexual harassment.

Teri Orsburn claims that she was subjected to unwanted come-ons and dangerous pranks by her male colleagues.

Orsburn was the Met's only female stagehand when she worked there for nearly three years.

According to the New York Post
, her supervisor refused to call her anything but "girl.''

Her Manhattan federal lawsuit says colleagues put glue on her tools and locked her out of the company lounge.

The Post said lawyers for the Met did not immediately respond to a call for comment.
