The holiday weekend and unofficial start to summer begins with cloudy skies and scattered showers, but ends with sunshine and summery temperatures in the mid-80s.

Forecasters say Saturday will be cloudy to partly sunny, with scattered showers and thunderstorms, Highs will reach the low 70s.

Sunday improves, with mostly sun but isolated thunderstorms possible and a high of 79.

Memorial Day will be a great beach day, with a high of 85 and plenty of sunshine.

Thunderstorms return for the work week on Tuesday, though.
