Long Island Man Finds Wife Killed in Bedroom: Police

A man found his wife dead in their home on Long Island Monday evening, police say, and the case is being investigated as a homicide.

Bonnie Farrell, 45, was found with an apparent head injury in the bedroom of her Medford home about 8:30 p.m., Suffolk County police say. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine how Farrell died.

No arrests have been made.
